From Aquarius to Leo - Oprah the Magnificent

By David Dibble

Trying mightily, I was not able to think of a woman in the world who I more admire than Oprah Winfrey. She seems to be the most influential woman on the planet, yet somehow it is greater than that. She has taken the lead in raising the human condition in so many ways. A champion for all women, minorities, children and the underprivileged around the globe, she has set the bar high as an of a authentic leader-a conscious leader.

Oprah is an Aquarius sun sign in the Western Zodiac or what we call an Aquarius CType. CTypes illustrate how we think. In the case of Aquarius, the CType is Outwardly Directed Sensation. This means that Aquarius thinking is strongly impacted by everything that can be perceived by the five senses. Aquarius CTypes are excellent collectors of information. Yet, like all CTypes, if we do an excessive amount of our Natural CType thinking, we create problems in our everyday lives. Fortuitously, within the stunning body of knowledge that is CTypes, we are simultaneously encoded with a solution to life's problems and a path to elevated awareness. The solution is to turn to our Opposite and complementary CType thinking. The shift to our Opposites is demanding for all CTypes, and yet it is how human beings are designed to change and evolve in life.

Oprah Became the Master

The opposite thinking of Aquarius is Leo CType thinking, which is recognized as Bi-directional Association. Aquarius is in some ways run by what it detects whereas Leo creates its personal reality, as a rule adopting a leadership component in the process. Abraham Lincoln is an illustration of an Aquarius CType who mastered the movement to Leo and grew to be most likely the greatest leader in American history. Oprah likewise has mastered the move from Aquarius to Leo and, in the process, has emerged as a kindred spirit superstar of conscious leadership for millions of people globally.

My wife of 40 years, Linda, has been pulling me in to watch Oprah whenever she feels there is an issue I ought to consider. It appears there has been a great deal that I needed to experience (smile). She wondered aloud the other day what the millions of people who had made the Oprah show an essential part of their everyday lives would do with the show going off the air. I suggested that perhaps the precious time has come for us to decide to put into action the things that Oprah has shown us. This appeared to resonate with Linda.
